ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (Ticker) - A day after releasing three starters, the Denver Broncos re-signed starting left tackle Matt Lepsis to a four-year contract.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Lepsis has spent his entire nine-year career with the Broncos, starting 111 of 128 games. After becoming a full-time starter in 1999, Lepsis has helped the Broncos rush for an NFL-best 15,819 yards during that period.
On Wednesday, the Broncos released running back Mike Anderson, defensive end Trevor Pryce and tight end Jeb Putzier to clear salary cap room.
Lepsis, 32, started 79 games at right tackle from 1999-2003 before switching to left tackle in 2004.
