Ron Dayne
Ron Dayne: Negotiating with Broncos
RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
Thursday, March 9, 2006
Update: The Broncos continue to negotiate with Dayne, but the main obstacle is the length of the potential new deal, the Denver Post reports.
Recommendation: The deal will likely be a two- or three-year contract. Barring a major turn of events, we expect the Broncos to re-sign Dayne, who is thought to be the early favorite for the starting job.

I just don't buy that Dayne is the favorite for the starting job, he has never produced even in years where he got more carries that Tiki in new york. He is a bum with a rare long run. Why does this guy's name keep coming up? Again, I just don't get it.

I don't buy that either, maybe it's a way to motivate Bell or something but what has he done at all to warrant a starting job??

i just want to know where they get that from. What, if anything, has been said or released to indicate that Dayne is the favorite? NOTHING

that's my point, just because they were good in college doesn't mean they will be in the pros.
