don't know what to make of this move, he and Brown do alright in a contract year....sounds like they'll both be meeting each other at the mediocre lounge in no time.

Are you sure you're not thinking about the Eagles. That's the team the comes to mind when I think of mediocre Defensive line.

Mediocre for one year, and Denver's D-line has been terrible for how many now? The LBers and the safety's held down that run D, and putting that much trust and money into 2 complete busts in Warren and Brown will haunt them bad, you'll see...

Warren had a great year. I plan on the Broncos drafting a D-lineman with one or both of our first round picks. Maybe Broderick Bunkley to go along with Warren, and hopefully a good DE will fall to #29 to go with Courtney Brown. ....................If you really want to see how good our D-line was, look at their success against the run. Teams were forced to pass and that made it look like our secondary was lacking. The fact is, the Broncos have a great secondary. We do need a passrusher though.

The best D-linemen was the one you let go. Brown played sparingly last year and didn't become a starter until mid way through and when he did then he got hurt in the midst of putting up 20 tackles and 2 sacks, and was out played by Ekuban. Warren actually played a lot and was average at best and pumped out 14 tackles and 3 sacks in every game.
Like I said the strength of that run D was Williams, Wilson, Gold, Pryce and Lynch plain and simple. A lot of money just got pumped into 2 guys that are just mediocre at best.

Sort of like what the Junior Varsity version of Washington and Adams would look like...medicore. You even trying to compare Warren to Adams or Washington is hilarious, why not just say Casey Hampton too Also Brown is a DE and he was basically a back up all year.

What are you talking about, Brown started. ................ Warren was more of a force than Pryce................And I've been talking up Pryce for several years. But after the the first 8 games or so, he wasn't all that effective. Atleast from the DE spot. And he all but refused to switch to DT this season...............That's why he's a Raven.

Brown did not start until midway through because of various injuries, he was part of the rotation but Ekuban was the starter, go check a game log there not even my team and I can guarantee that.
He didn't want to be a 3-4 NT that's what it was and his salary was a bit high, that's was the main reason he was out.
