Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports the Broncos today signed free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, who played for the Chicago Bears last season after stints with Washington (2006-07) and San Francisco (2003-05).
Lloyd, 6-feet, 194 pounds, has 156 receptions and 15 touchdowns in 79 career games, including 47 as a starter. He was selected by the 49ers in the fourth round (124th overall) in the 2003 draft out of the University of Illinois.
You add that to the fact that Marshall is now wanting a trade then this move could make a lot of sense. May not be that great of help but they could need him.
