Lions sign Corey Bradford

Lions signed WR Corey Bradford to a four-year, $7.4 million contract, including a $2 million signing bonus.
Huh? Perhaps the Lions are planning on ditching Charles Rogers, but they still have Mike Williams and Scottie Vines behind Roy Williams. Bradford will play a Kevin Johnson-like mentor role as a reserve receiver. If nothing else, this should prevent Matt Millen from drafting a first-round wideout. Mar. 13 -

I think it was a dumb move, they have enough problems on that team to go after another WR. What do they have now 50, they should be trying to get some oline or dbacks not another frigging WR, ******* millin

this makes no sense, with all the the WR's they have there is no need to sign Bradford

When you look at the money they get him for and the money they are going to save when they cut Rogers they would have made out in the deal IMO.

And they grabbed Drummond back so Rogers is surly gone.

I just think they need to be focusing on other areas besides the one they have focused so heavily on over the past few years.

I wouldn't see this as a focus just more of like a security, like they said sort of like Kevin Johnson, not that big a deal and it will be nice replacment for a guy like Rogers when he's let go.
