millen should have been fired two years ago and then last year, if he wasn;t fired already, then why would you think he would be fired now. Milled has got to have some pictures on the owners, that is all I can come up with.
The Detroit front office is much like the San Diego front office. Bottom line profit/loss is the main issue. Winning is a distant second in the pecking order. Millen keeps players salaries in control, and all the Fords care about. They could care less if the Lions record is 12-4 or 4-12. The only way to stop this is for Detroit season ticket holders to start canceling their season tickets. I mean thousand of season ticket holders. That is the most effective way to send the message. If the Fords think the fans will settle for a mediocre product, they will not spend any more money to improve it. If the fans let them know that they are not going to waste their money on a lousy team, the Fords will be forced into taking action.
