Default Fire Matt Millan

Of all the GMs in the NFL how dose he still have a job? All of his draft picks but roy williams have been busts. He hasent improved the defense much, and he continues to ignore the offensive line.

You said it... It was obvious after he drafted WR three years in a row. True, Williams is good, but Millen also sabotaged that one by keeping (and overpaying) a terrible QB, not allowing Roy to get the catches he should have. If Millen hadn't blamed all the team's problems on Mariucci and fired him midway through the season, he probably would be out of a job long ago. For now though, I have to agree with your assessment, he's the worst GM in the NFL.

he might be one of the worst GM's ever employed. He has no understanding of how to build a football team.

The Lions could have been a team that went deep into the playoffs last year if millan had just fixed there offensive line instead of drafting mike williams.

they actually have a defense that isn't that bad. If they stayed healthy and scored some friggin points they would be alright.

Millen is a complete moron.. theres no doubt. Believe me when I say, almost NO ONE likes him here in detroit. Drafting three WR in three straight round one picks. Hopefully with the new coaching staff, especially HC Marinelli.. he will set them straight and build the team up whre it is hurting, in the trenches. I really like the new coaching staff and I hope marinelli gets this team tough again. Mariucci really softened the team with their "no hit practices" which were supposed to prevent injuries.. but i think it just helped to cause players to get hurt because they didnt have the toughness.

Mariucci was a good coach granted he made a few mistakes but the problems the team were having wasent his fault he deserved to keep his job atleast for another year.

it was just millen trying to lay blame elsewhere so that he could keep his job for a little longer.
