He got a lot of carries when he returned from his injury a few years back and ran the hell out of the ball the last half of the season for a ton of yards. He had over 100 yards just about every game. Then last year, for whatever reason, he shared carries with bryson and pinner.. I will never understand that.

well I thought they definately should have selected OL with the third pick.. but they did get jonathon scott with the 5th pick and also fred matua at G later in the draft. I believe they are good prospects. I thought Calhoun was a good pick because he was a very good RB in college and probably one of the best players available at our 3rd pick. That was also before we re-signed RB Pinner for whatever reason. I liked the pick much better when we only had Jones and Bryson. Not sure why they picked Pinner back up with Jones, Bryson, and Calhoun.

Incase u have not noticed the lions did not improve thier offensive line that much they only picked up two offensive linemen in the draft but i think that johnathan scott and fred mutua, but i think that kevin jones will have a breakout year and i think the offesive line should ne able to hold up a little better

They also picked up Rex Tucker who is a decent OLineman and there were also a few other free agent lineman signed. I think marinelli brought them in to compete for the starting job.. which is really the best way to bring out the best in your starters IMO.

I think jones will have a better year, I think they like bryson as a receiver, but don't forget the guy who is OC, he likes to pass the ball....ALOT

If they can throw the ball successfully then it will open up the field for Jones and he should be able to rip it up this season.
