Lions | Hanson still waiting for fake field goal opportunity

Tom Kowalski, of MLive.com, reports Detroit Lions PK Jason Hanson is still looking for his first fake field-goal attempt after 15 years in the NFL. The team has worked on fake field goals in practice but never called one in a game. Hanson said, "Yeah, isn't that crazy? Who knows what goes into it? It depends on the coach's demeanor and a lot of times . . . think about the last few years. It's always been a danger zone around here and which coach wants to throw his neck out there even more on the line for calling a fake that doesn't work? I don't know if that plays into it."
He forgot to add that the reason is because of Ryan Longwell  and second, they can't even get the offense going. So why a fake field goal?!
