Lions' Davis taken off field on stretcher
ST. LOUIS - Detroit Lions guard Frank Davis was taken off the field on a truck after he injured his neck on the opening kickoff of the second half in Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams. Coach Rod Marinelli said the injury did not appear to be serious.

Davis was taken to a hospital, but had movement in his arms and legs, Marinelli said.

It appears everything is going to be fine with Frank,'' Marinelli said. ``All the X-rays and everything were negative right now.''
