OK judge how can you say that? the D was pretty much awesome on sunday....The only thing was martz didnt run much....Thought rod would keep his pass happy O in check but it didnt happen.....

I did hear the fans boo the offense but IMO I thought they were booing the play calling and not the actual play of the offense.....

1. The offense was garbage. I mean the Bears have a ****ty offense, but at least they can run the ball, we can't even do that.
2. Yea, the defense was awesome, but they were last year as well in the beginning. Remember the first 5 games last year? I don't buy it that they can do what they did Sunday for 15 more games. I just don't buy it.
3. Kitna looked like Joey when the pocket collapsed. I didn't see the poise I would have expected from an 11 year vet. He danced and threw ****ty balls when we needed him the most.
4. We are still committing **** *** penalities and don't appear to be the disciplined giant they were sold to us as.
5. They are the Lions.

1- Cant run the ball b/c the OL is ****ing trash. Wake up people it isnt the system its the scrubs playing it.
2- The D was nowhere near as good last year, this was the Seahawks not the packers. Can the do that week in week out? Doubtful, but what teams D's can? Not to many
3-Kitna looked nowhere near as bad as your stating. Was he spectacular? No far from it. He didnt make poor decisions or try to force the ball. Some of his throws were poor and that would need to improve. Seattle has a good front 4 and they were getting some good pressure all game.
4- Cant argue there

I was impressed by Detroit's D, even if the Seahawks looked like ****.

It seemed like Roy Williams felt like he had better **** to do than be there. It was like he wasn't even trying.

My friends and I all agreed that Kitna seemed to have problems throwing to the left side of the field. He better clean that up for next week or Nate Vasher's gonna to find the endzone.

If your O-line was half as motivated as your defense was you probably would have won yesterday.

I think the best thing that happened to the Lions was your D-line coach getting drunk and being thrown off the team.

Maybe it wouldn't have mattered, but with Marinelli working directly with that unit all game long they looked solid as hell and were the difference in the game for you. From the blocked FGs to the pressure applied on the QB, to the limiting of the gound game, it was your D-line that lead the charge.

On the flip side, the Seahawks really looked like they missed having Hutch on that left side.

I think the Lions D MADE the Seahawks look like $#it. I have a feeling this D is going to really carry us later in the season. If we can put to gether ANY kind of O we'll be decent. (not great, just decent)

I don't expect the D to play that well all season long. I just expect them to be good.

I don't know if Roy was a non facor because wasn't getting open, or if he just wasn't getting any looks by Kitna. No passes thrown his was in the entire first half? that's just wierd!

Sorry buddy but Kitna played well. He was the only one on O that i could say that about.
D played well enough to win vs an outstanding team, but you hold SA to 50 yards you HAVE to win the game. O need to get their **** together
[/b]
I wouldnt say well, you could tell him and roy werent even close to being on teh same page. He missed some wide open throws, but i wouldnt have been booing him. He played decent, which is all i can even hope for at this point considering who we've had in the past

don't get too excited, our "O" has been a slow starting one for the past few years. Week 3-6 is when things start to click for us. Your D-Line does look good and It's too bad that Kevin Jones will be all used up by the time the rest of the team gets turned around. You should trade him for a pick so you can stock up at WR!

Wow, thats kind of ironic coming from a guy who is a fan of a team that gave Nate Burleson a 49 million dollar contract and just traded a first for Deion Branch.
