I don't wanna get started on Millen right now.
I will say this though, I think Roy will end up being the best WR this franchise has ever seen.

Not at all, Roy has more speed, the same hands, maybe not as great jumping ability and will become just as sharp on his route running as Herman was.

Not to mention Herman was constantly single covered with Barry in the backfield and Perriman, a very solid #2 on the other side.
Teams prepare for Roy and he still gets his numbers, as far as I know Nate Clements is reguarded as a solid CB, he couldn't do **** on Roy.

Herman was a great WR, but he doesnt even come close to the physical talent that Roy possess, so i would agree ROY could very well be the best WR this franchise has ever seen

When Roy puts up 100+ catches for three consecutve years, tops 9,000 yards receiving, and puts up over 60 TDs, I'll agree. Until thin, you can't compare potential to production.

Of course not, but If Roy continues to progress the way he has he will be the best the Lions have had. The ONLY thing that could hold him back from that is his durability. I beleive that 100%.
Herman was definitaley a badass though, the fade route in the endzone to him was as $ as a ****ing spike to stop the clock.

The Bucs were looking at him right away, but he reportedly looked like absolute **** and they would rather have kept Paris Warren on the roster before signing Rogers, even though Rogers would have actually been cheaper.
If Gruden, an offensive minded coach, views a player to be at that level in his career...chances are, that player has no career.
Rogers has no one to blame but himself.
