Ya, The Lions have drafted bad, but you can do list like this with any other team and make them look really, really bad as well

Man, it's easy to say "Look at what we missed out on" after the fact., but the team had different holes to fill and players looked better before they actually saw time on a pro field.

Right now, the biggest one for me to say is this past years draft...

I wish we would have taken Adrian Peterson over Calvin Johnson. We have good receivers and average backs. 4th in passing last year, DEAD LAST in rushing also with a horrible shortyardage/goalline game. What was the agenda? Move up to 1st in passing while neglecting the run? Great teams have no weaknesses, the lions continue to try and build their strengths and neglect their weaknesses. We lose for the same reson EVERY year and neglect it. This is why we SUCK.

I mean, realistically, they didn't draft that bad, it just hasn't worked out for them. If you look at who they drafted and how highly they were touted coming out of college, the picks weren't bad. You can't really tell who's going to be an NFL stud until they're really in the NFL. Brady was a late pick. It's kinda who fits a system and who develops. Granted they shouldn't have taken 58 wideouts in a row, but hey... you get my point.

True... but wouldn't have been something if they hit the jackpot with one of them?
