It wouldn't surprise me at all though if they do try to get Brees or some Vet that could actually play if/when Joey falls on his face. A Martz type QB that will probably be there is a guy like Ramsey, or Griese..

Ramsey would be a good move, they could probally get him pretty cheap and with all the talent their offense has he could really excell in Detriot.

Ramsey in Detroit and Brees in Miami sounds best to me. Lions still need to find a new GM if they intend to be a contender though.

Yeah that seems ideal but you can be assured McNair is gone in the next couple hours and Saban has already said he would take him too.

IMO Detroit has to make some noise with a QB and they should toss whatever at Brees and draft Davis from Maryland if he goes that far.

i'm not sure i would take McNair. His best days are past him and i don't think he is worth investing in.

I actually like McNair and I think he would be fine with some actually weapons...but he's a huge upgrade over Ferrotte IMO.

Oh no not for any length of time but for the next year or so I would take him while I develope another QB. It will be hard for them this year to toss any real money at a QB.
