I agree, the game should be interesting...

Hey thanks for the response, btw I'm sure there were other threads about it but I'll just ask you, what do you think of the whole Patriot-tapegate deal? Tapegate or whatever they are calling it, there was a rumor they even had other teams playbooks but alas, just a rumor. I heard a quote from Hines Ward saying (not verbatim, just what I recall) "you know, it makes one wonder, they always seemed to be one step ahead of us".

Brady's stats are uncanny this season, I didn't doubt they would be back though, just never thought they would be so strong, wasn't sure how Moss would fit, and even Dante
Stallworth seems to be doing well. Of course, so did David Patten in that offense...

Talk to you later - Zane

And indeed it was, and here I think we need cornerbacks, when we ended up with four interceptions. Of course it was against Greise and the bears, who have struggled with a passing game for a while now.

Kevin Jones being back is great, seems like he is able to establish himself easily (again) as the no. 1 back. I never personally like Detroit when they had the three headed monster of Bryson/Pinner/Jones, it just didn't work...we are not the Eagles.

Jones ran tough against a good (not great) Bears offense, and like they said after the game, Urlacher (normally dominating) was a non-factor in the game. Jason Hanson booting one from over fifty shows he still has what it takes. For the most part, it looked like Detroit was in control pretty much the entire game. I was holding my breath when Jones fumbled that time, but it ended up turning out okay.

One prediction I had rang pretty true: Cedric Benson is a bust, I mean C'mon the Lions supposedly cannot stop a cold when it comes to run defense, this guy can't even find a hole to begin with. Well next week it is Denver and that should be another interesting one, they are not as good as they used to be but still have some imposing backfield and a run game that is usually pretty effective.

I believe this is just a rumor. Brady has always had good numbers without a stud reciever and now that they now have one he has record breaking numbers. I'm not a fan of them running up the score.

I think we will address the CB issue in the first unless they have a shot at Laurinaitis. Cason, Jenkins, and Lowery are my personal favorites but would much rather see Laurinaitis in Detroit.
