1st(15)- Rashard Mendenhall (RB, Illini): I am more of a Stewart fan but wither way i'd be happy.
2nd(45)- Phillip Merling (DE, Clemson): We need some speed on the D-line to help take some pressure off the secondary.
Somewhere else in the second (sorry i can't think of a trade)
Erin Henderson (OlB, Terps): We lost Bailey which didn't bother me that much but our D need some help and after taking Mendenhall in the 1st, we will use the majority of our picks on the D.
3rd(76)- Phillip Wheeler (ILB, GT): He's got speed and he loves to sack the QB, hes a Marlenelli type of guy. The lions LB core would be decent with him, Simzilla, and Henderson.
3rd(87)- Tracy Porter (CB, Indiana): probabally won't fall here but I wouldn't mind even seeing him in the second.
4th(111) Owen Schmitt (FB, West Virginia): hes hard nosed like Schlesinger was and we need a guy like him to play in our "somewhat" basic offense.
5th(144)- Kirk Barton (OT, Ohio State): I watched him quite often and he played good. We also have a strong need for OT.
6th (176)-Barry Richardson (OT, Clemson): Another Olinemen. The thing bout him is that he was a top 10 prospect at the begging of the year so he obivously has some talent/value.
7th(216)- Dexter Jackson (WR, App ST.): Yes, a WR. Hes fast and he will make the kick/punt returns good like they were back in the day for the lions.
