ok, so the colts showed up with their run defense against a chiefs team that totally ate **** the first 45 minutes of the game, and now the colts are going to b-more. now as a baltimore fan, i'd be a little nervous due to the fact that the secondary has had issues when Samari Rolle covers good receivers (see Steve Smith). baltimore also has had problems with good route runners in the past like Jimmy Smith. but the pass rush that b more will bring will hopefully bring enough pressure to bring peyton manning out of his rhythm, and its safe to assume that the colts running game will go nowhere. any thoughts on how this game will go?

IF the Colts D can show up again next week against the Ravens it will be a good game, but I really doubt they can do it 2 weeks in a row. I really wonder how much of the game was the Chiefs O just not functioning, there were plenty of dropped passes.

As far as how the game will go, if its close near th end, the Colts have a shot at winning that game, but if the Ravens get a 2 score lead, its lights out, they'll run the ball down the Colts throat and eat the clock.

20-10 Ravens?

I hope Freeney runs circles around Ogden like a couple years ago... anyone remember that?

I'm shuttering at the idea of Wayne/Harrison against Rolle. Whoever is on Rolle will have help of Reed over top.

Yea that was pretty embarrasing. But a couple of things are different now than that year. First that was on the RCA Dome turf, which is a faster surface than the one at MT Bank and helped Freeney. Second Ogden didn't play that well last year, and Freeney had a monster season. If Ogden is fully healthy I expect him to do a good job agaisnt Freeney.

Yea that's a scary matchup. I don't have a lot of confidence in Rex Ryan to gameplan well enough for this.

The Colts were the team I least wanted to play. Our rushing attack isn't good enough to exploit that area, and they have the offensive line to stop the blitz and the playmakers to exploit the secondary. The only way I can see us winning is pressuring Manning and having long, sustained drives. Kansas City couldn't do it, but I have a feeling we might be able to do it.

Freeney played like a man possessed today. It's going to be interesting. The way Manning played today and with that Ravens defense though, I don't see this as being very promising for the Colts.

the ravens D will have a field day with the colts because manning will be feeling scared ****less at baltimore, without turf, without the dome overhead. nevertheless they still have that huge playmaking ability

i think the scariest team that, thank god, we dont have to play at least yet, is the New England Patriots...why?

tom brady...

im pretty sure we can handle the chargers...the recipe is simple...stop LT, pressure rivers...we stopped LT last time, i think he had 98 yds 0 tds, and rivers CANT throw against a pressure defense, ****er cant even throw against seattle...

If we win this game I think we will go to the Superbowl.
