Overview
Coming off a bye week with the rest of the West Division, the Eskimos (4-3) return to action Thursday night against the Riders (6-1). The Eskimos have had success at home against Saskatchewan, posting a 33-8-0 regular season record at Commonwealth, including nine wins in the last 10 regular season meetings.
The two teams already met once this year, with the defending Grey Cup Champs defeating the Green and Gold in Saskatchewan in the first regular season game of the season. The Esks travel to Saskatchewan for the two clubs' final meeting on October 25.
After an inspirational win at home against BC on July 31, the Esks lost the rematch in BC the following week. The Eskimos look to return to their winning way and increase the Riders' losing streak to two. Despite being bitten by the injury bug, the Riders have started the season strong. They suffered their first and only loss of the season before the bye week at home against the Stampeders.
