There is a little concern the Roys pick of Adrian Peterson as KR might just to get him as a back up early. Are you ok with the pick or not.

im ok with the pick but if your gonna take a rookie you gotta be sure that he can run back kicks at the next level. i think the whole world knows that Ted Ginn is gonna run back kicks but you never know with a RB especially a brittle one like Adrian Peterson. tough call here but majority vote will win here. i guess for future picks if you select a KR/PR he has to have atleast 10 attempts either KR or PR. that would be fair imo.

Laurence Maroney never returned kicks in college either. Now in the NFL he ranked #2 behind Justin Miller.

So imo its not a stretch for me to put him at kickoff returns, speed + vision is what i want.

I don't like the pick because I don't believe Peterson has ever KRed, and I really don't think he ever will. He's an injury prone back, and a football team would be very stupid to let guys running full speed at him take shots at him on kick returns.

Technically, KR and PR should not be starting positions in the first place. Dante Hall started 0 games in the 2006 season, according to NFL.com, yet he returned 53 kicks and 27 punts - obviously playing the role as KC's main KR/PR guy.
