Default Professor's Fantasy Football Free Cheat Sheet & ADP List for all

Please provide the following info...

How many teams in your league, what is the scoring for your league, is it a redraft or keeper league, if it's a keeper then how many do you keep, how many starters at each position and total players on your roster, is it an IDP league,

Basically I do this because when I first started out in fantasy football years ago, I could never find lists that were well put together and also free, so i am doing this as a service to all those who happen to find this.

remember to include all scoring, ppr or no ppr, TD heavy or yardage heavy.

I also read every newspaper from every football team and keep up to date depth charts for all.

Hey Prof..I've got a keeper question. I'll try to explain my league as best i can, this league is pretty wacky:

Roster size: 32...18 starters, 14 bench

First number is starter, second is MAX

Quarterback (QB) 1, 4
Running Back (RB) 2, 6
Running Back/Wide Receiver (RB/WR) 1 N/A
Wide Receiver (WR) 2, 8
Tight End (TE) 1, 3
Defensive Tackle (DT) 1, 5
Defensive End (DE) 1, 5
Linebacker (LB) 2, 5
Defensive Line (DL) 1 N/A
Cornerback (CB) 1, 5
Safety (S) 1, 5
Defensive Back (DB) 1 N/A
Team Defense/Special Teams (D/ST) 1, 2
Place Kicker (K) 1, 3
Punter (P) 1, 5

As for scoring, it's heavy on everything. 6 pts for Passing Td, 1 pt for every 20 passing yards, 1 pt for every 5 completions. This goes the same pretty much for rushing and receiving too. 6 per TD, 1 per every 10 yards, 1 for every rush attempt.

Defensively: 4 pts per INT or fumble recovery, 4 pts per sack, 1 pt per tackle.

Ok, here's my roster:

QB: Drew Brees, Rex Grossman, Damon Huard
RB: Edgerrin James, Willie Parker, Travis Henry, Laurence Maroney, Cedric Benson
WR: Steve Smith, Roy Williams, Reggie Williams, Jurevicius
TE: Shockey
DT: Michael Myers, Kevin Williams
DE: Mario Williams, Osi Umenyiora
LB: Antonio Pierce, Donnie Edwards, Scott Fujita, Trent Cole
CB: Chris McAlister, Pacman, Terence Newman, Andre Dyson
Defense: Saints, Giants

OKAY, I get to keep 3 people this year. My initial thought was: Brees, Steve Smith, Maroney..but i figured i'd ask you first. What do you think?

that is a high scoring league first off, damn, 1 point per rush and I assume 1 point per reception as well?

are the tackle points for solo or assisted tackles or is there fractional points?

Is there points taken away for offensive fumbles or interceptions?

If you can think of any other scoring that you left out, that would help as well, thanks
On defense, is there points for blocked kicks, return TD's, return yards either INT, fumble or kick return?

Are there any kind of limits on keepers, like giving up draft pick where you picked the guy from the year before, or you can only keep a guy for a certain # of years, or anything of that nature?

What is your pick in the upcoming draft? If you have a higher pick you may be able to drop someone that you can draft right away?

Actually no, 1 pt per 5 rec. and per 5 rushing attempts.

There is only points for solo tackles, no fractional points.

-2 points for an INT and fumble lost....Return TD's on Defense and kicks gets you 6 points, 3 points for blocked kicks, 2 for passes defended and tackles for losses. 3 points for a forced fumble. 1 point for every 25 return yards kick and punt.

no limits on keepers, and i have the 8th pick out of 10 in the draft, due to finishing third in the league last year.

honestly after looking at your scoring and seeing how high it is and that you award points for rush attempts and receptions, and being that fumbles by your backs are going to occur way more infrequently than a QB throws an int, combine that with the fact that you can start up to 3 RB's a week, you have to, IMO, keep edge, Parker and Maroney, the only way I would keep Brees, is if you know that you can draft a RB like Westy, addai or ronnie brown at your eight spot and then you would be able to keep Brees and not Parker. In your scoring system, WR's just won't score enough points to warrent a keeper, even Chad or Steve smith, because you only give 1 point per five receptions and it is wayyy easier for a RB to get 20-25 carries (5pts) when your top WR will get an average of 6-7 reception (1 point) per game in the same span, thus WR's are not very valuable in your league scoring format.

I would keep Edge, Maroney and then either Parker or Brees depending on who will be available based on the teams ahead of you in the drafts keepers.

any other ?'s
