Taylor is still the main guy and a healthy jones will take some goal line carries, it is just doesn't seem likely that he will score so often again

Jones is the feature back in Jacksonville now, he may not start but he is the feature back
from week 10 on Jones Drew had at least 1 TD, finishing with 13 as well as 2 receiving TDs
hes the goaline back in Jacksonville, Im a big Taylor fan but hes on the decline

disagree
Greg Jones has 7 Career TDs in his 2 years... he was a productive goal line back in 04 and 05 but not stellar
lets not forget that he tore his ACL, who knows how he comes back... with that said, Jones Drew has been a beast at the goal line, theres no reason for Del Rio to experiment with Greg Jones when he has something good going with Jones-Drew.... I mean why split backs between 3 RBs when you have a young stud like Jones Drew who has been dominant in his rookie year
for Greg Jones the ACL tear in 06 was not his 1st ACL tear, it was his 2nd and he said himself that the first time, it took him 3 whole years to regain the burst..... you need burst for goal line situations and I dont trust him

I feel what you are saying, I just don't see MJD getting where he did last year, that is your opinion and that is cool about FFB, no one knows until its too late to effect your draft, LOL

I hear you.....
Maroney and Rudi are better options and will end up with more points in standard scoring
this question was pertaining to who has more value in a league that inclued points per reception and thats Jones-Drew as neither Maroney or Johnson are better in the flats, both better in between the tackles on the rush though
MJD is a #2 back in all leagues IMO.... I think its a reach to have him as your #1 back but its justifiable to some people

When i think of MJD i think of the fact that the Jags face Tennessee twice, Houston once(other time's wk 17), Indy twice, Buffalo, New Orleans and Oakland, none of which have top 20 Rushing defense. Their passing game hasn't proven that they can be consistent, so we could very well see Drew put up close to as many TD's, and i think he'll have more yardage too.

oh without a doubt MJD will see more carries... he only had 166 last season, comes out to a little over 10 carries a game
but in the last 4 weeks of the season he averaged 18 carries a game in which he went over 100 3 times with an average of 6 yards an attempt

Thanks for the responses guys. I definately forgot about Greg jones. His presence certainly shakes things up a bit, but they have to feed the ball to MJD. He was far to effective last year not to.
I guess maybe I just want to believe that he'll still be a huge stud. When is it too early to draft him?
