Who has more value in a PPR...
...MAroney, Rudi, or MJD?
I absolutely love Rudi and love his playoff schedule, but in a PPR this guy ranks around 15-20th in overall scoring. He clearly is a safe choice, but not necessarily a guy that will dominate and surprise.
Maroney is definatley a gamble. Health issues aside, he didn't nab that many balls as a rookie. But once again having a full time back in an elite offense (much like Rudi) is invaluable. I think Rudi and Maroney could have very comparable years.
MJD also split time as a rookie, but grabbed 46 balls and should slide into the #1 spot in that commitee. At first glance the other two seem to be better options because there is little competition, but with his big play potential and catching the ball out of the backfield- this guy is tough to pass on.
I have a very tough time ranking these guys- If I had to, I would go...
MJD
Rudi
Maroney
What do you say?

I might rank them about the same way that you did. If I was drafting, I'd take Maroney, MJD,Rudi.

Do you think Maroney will be involved in the passing game? It seems unlikely there are so many options to choose from. The spread offense that the Pats run often means that the check down guys are the wide receiver 3 and 4s. I don't know. I'd like to think that I can't make a mistake, but I have a hunch that one of these will emerge and substantially outscore the other two.

Wait no sorry got confused for a minute. MJD,Rudi,Maroney. Brady likes to spread the ball around and has a lot more options this year.

In a PPR I would take MJD, Rudi Johnson, and then Laurence Maroney. In a non PPR it would easily be Rudi Johnson, Laurence Maroney, and then Maurice Jones Drew.
