Aight so when Wednesday morning came and the waivers cleared in my CBS FFL, this dude picked up the Cardinals D/ST. I originally had a request in for them, but he was ahead of me on the list.

Just to give it a shot I offered him the Cowboys D/ST (I was originally going to drop them for the Cardinals D/ST). Apparently he declined my offer, but made a counter of the same exact trade. The one weird thing is the counter's comment read something to the effect of "McAllister for Cardinals D". I didn't take much of that comment into thought and went and accepted his actual counter, which traded the Cowboys D/ST to him and the Cardinals D/ST to me.

As the trade-voting deadline passed, the trade went through. Only 2 objections were placed (both people I know in real life, one of which has some weird hatred for me). Anyways like I said the trade went through. Later that day I got an email from him reading:
Quote:
"Why are you playing me this way? You know the terms of the trade. I can't believe that it's that important to you."
Now he messages me on MSN Messenger and says he wants me to trade him Deuce to him for the Cowboys D/ST or give him back his Cardinals D/ST for the Cowboys D/ST he now has. I have no intention (duh) to trade him Deuce for the Cowboys, I wouldn't have traded him Deuce for the Cardinals either.

So as the conversation ended I said let me "borrow" the Cardinals D/ST for a week then I would maybe trade them back to him for the Cowboys D/ST or something.

What is to be thought of all this? What should I do? What would you have done or do now?

I'd probably trade back. I ain't buyin' that you just "didn't take much of that comment into thought". You knew what he meant, why the hell would he counter with the same exact trade he rejected? He clicked on the wrong button somewhere, you knew it, and you took advantage of it.

Well I honestly don't see why I trade Deuce for a defense. In my defense the trade was sitting up there for awhile before I accepted his counter. He could see that he only countered with the same thing.

Anyways, trading back is most likey what I'm going to do here.

Which is exactly what he should have done.

1 - His loss.
2 - Moron thinks he can get McAllister for the ****ing Cards defense? He deserves to lose.
3 - It's not a hard set up. Most places have you click your players, and then confirm it on the next page. He prolly got an email as well stating what the trade was.
4 - **** him.

Well, that's cool, if fantasy football success is important enough to you to knowingly screw someone over.

I wouldn't trade back he could of easily offered you Duece for the Cards D but he didn't so it's his fault for being a *******. Unless of course you feel bad for him.

<------ Guy who countered the same offer when he could of easily changed it to include Duece.

First of all, I've see trades that have been declined being reoffered by the one who turned it down, quite a few times. It's really not that uncommon.

When you offer a trade in CBS, the players are listed alphabetically. There is no way that you could accidentally click on "Cowboys" rather than "McAllister, Deuce" since there must have been about 5 names in between them. Maybe he meant to offer the Cards for the Cowboys AND Deuce but, if so, he's a complete idiot or he thinks you might be.

I say make the trade back. There's no point getting yourself a bad reputation among other potential trade partners. But if he gives any more attitude about it, call him on it. He's the one that messed up and either tried to make an insulting offer or made a fair one and is now lying to get out of it.

I say **** him. He's obviously an *** hole for flipping out on you. If he would have asked you nicely and said that he clicked on the wrong name, and asked for a trade back, I would do it. But, it was his mistake and he flipped on you for it.
