reigning champ of league 4...i've never gone a season without a championship team...and i usually only play one or two leagues. rarely miss the playoffs unless i get shafted by injuries like the team where all three of my top RBs missed time.

i got 2nd in a league last year with Holmes, Davis, Thomas Jones.. they all were injured, i finished the season with the lowest score, and best record..

If you finish the year with the lowest point totalyou have the worst team. I know championships are the goal, but the only thing you can control is getting guys on your team that score points.

IMHO ... if you finish below third in the league for scoring, and win a championship, you got lucky.

I won multiple NFL leagues last year as well as the KFFL college league. Dunno if I wanna be in this though. Sounds like a school playground kiddies "i'm better than you" type ****. Doesn't sound serious at all.

I believe that is mathematically impossible, if you have to lowest point total you have to lose 50% of your games.

I remember I was top 3 in points in one Yahoo league and did not even sniff the playoffs.

it's luck too. sometimes i would win 45-44, and when i lose it wouldn't be that many points.

The Bitter Truth

Two years ago I lead the league in scoring for my keeper league thru the first nine weeks. I ended up second in points and missed the playoffs. Three years ago in a Yahoo league was fourth in scoring and won only 4 games, missing the post season as well.

I've had four teams miss the playoffs since playing fantasy football and two of those teams were serious contenders. It's all about matchups and luck.

I'm always weary of anyone who claims to have never had a bad season because there is too much luck involved. You can only control what your team does and doesn't do. There is only so much one can do.
