Using my main league as an example, it's a 14 team league with 6 points for a TD of any kind, one point per 10 yards rushing or receiving and one point per 25 yards passing. So it's true that a top QB will get more points than a top RB. The thing is, you have to consider positional scarcity. By that, I mean this: We only start one QB each week but we start two RBs. With 14 teams, even the worst starting QB isn't into the dregs but the worst starting RBs suck. The good RBs run out MUCH faster than the good QBs. You can still often grab a guy like Hasselbeck or Favre in the fifth round or later but good luck finding much at RB after the first few rounds. Also, when you consider that there are always a few teams with a running-back-by-committee situation, there aren't even 32 true #1s in the league which leaves things even thinner at the position.
