Here is how I would probably have my top 15 right now. Its so early though, lots can change. People will pick at Ronnie Brown being that high but I'm working on the assumption that Ricky is gonna be out for that drug ****. With the way that team likes to run and now with Culpepper ... wow.

1-Ladanian Tomlinson
2-Larry Johnson
3-Shaun Alexander
4-Ronnie Brown
5-Edgerrin James
6-Lamont Jordan
7-Caddillac Williams
8-Tiki Barber
9-Clinton Portis
10-Willis McGahee
11-Rudi Johnson
12-Steven Jackson
13-Duece McAllister
14-Reggie Bush
15-Willie Parker

Edited for all the moves made so far in FA

TBT, Brown will certainly get a chance to shine but that O-Line is a damn mess.

And that might be the thorn in his side. But that team ran the ball pretty well last year between Icky-Sticky-Ricky and Ronnie. If Brown gets the load and the philosophy doesn't change ... Brown could be huge.

There could be some intense changes to the rankings next year. SO many guys moving down in the rankings could cause some of these guys to raise up.

Is Alexander worth the number one pick? Im thinkin if the SB loser curse affects seattle very much, Alexander could be a huge bust. Im not sure if i would keep him, or trade him for 3 other solid players.

Larry Johnson is likely my 3rd ranked RB. As long as the Chiefs move Priest Holmes somewhere else, and nobody is in front of LJ, then i will definetely be taking him possibly 2nd, but definetely 3rd. Stud X 10000

Lamont Jordan was thought to have not produced much since the pass game was thought to be so dominant, but before the Raiders get a solid QB, its all about Lamont. Id be more than happy to take him.

WIllie Parker should move into the first round. THis year he will be competeing with Duece Staley, but he is the main guy for screen passes and maybe even touchdowns this year. Stud.

Corey Dillon/Rudi Johnson. He's going to be underrated by most this upcoming season. The Pats are always good witht he drawing board, and theres so many guys leaving the top spots open. Him and Rudi Johnson are about picks 5 and 6. These are both productive offenses and these runningbacks find the endzone plenty. The runnigbacks thrive in their fantastic situations. Both were underrated by me and everybody last year. Im completely sold on them and they would be a spectacular early first round pick.

Alot of guys are leaving the top 10, due to repetitive injury or loss of job. Julius Jones can't be counted on anymore, with so many other dallas backs, and a non existant running game in dallas.

Willis McGahee is a hard guy to take into your team just because you know that offense doesn't click and the Bills dissappoint way too often.

Ahman Green was successful with a solid line. But its unlikely he will have that next year, so let him slide unless you take him in the 5th round, or play a 3 runningback league.

Priest Holmes should stay a first rounder but his situation depends alot. If a team like Arizona takes him and they get significant O-line help, he could be a stud again. But again, injury is a huge concern.

Duece McAllister. He will have Matt Lienhart as his QB this year, and his success depends on him. I say he's worth taking late first round, but dont be suprised if he gets injured and ruins your season. I say theres a 40% chance that happens, so draft Warrick Dunn or something. THe Saints need to figure out how to produce on offense. Poor Duece needs some help. Until he gets it he cant produce. Be careful here.

Jamal Lewis. yuck man. I will never again be sold on him and will look at every other option before i take him. Injury, prison, suckiness all contribute to him playing liek ****. Oh and not to mention The Ravens dont get going on offense, like ever.

Reggie Bush. Well he'll be overrated by everyon at first. No runningback steps in and starts putting up great numbers. And they HAVE to get rid of Domanick Davis or he is not worth anything at all.

Here's Golden Hornz's rankings.

1. Ladanian Tomlinson
2. Larry Johnson
3. Shaun Alexander
4. Tiki Barber
5. Rudi Johnson
6. Corey Dillon
7. Edgerrin James
8. Willie Parker
9. Lamont Jordan
10. Priest Holmes
11. Domanick Davis (new team)
12. Duece McAllister
13. Tatum Bell
14. Willis McGahee
Thomas Jones
15. Brian Westbrook
16. Steven Jackson
17. Caddillac Williams
Ahman Green
18. Warrick Dunn
19. Rueben Droughns
20. Reggie Bush
Kevin Jones
21. Cedrick Houstan
22. Greg Jones
23. Jamal Lewis
24. Ricky Williams
25. Julius Jones
26. Stephen Davis
Lendale White
27. JJ Arrington
DeAngelo Williams
Barring a damn injury, Edge will be a top 5 RB next season. Coach Green will get that guy the ball 25 times a game. He'll nail 1500 yards Rushing and 600 yards receiving with about 20 TDS.

Heh. I like what the Cards might be able to do but until I see one of their running backs actually do well I'm not putting any of them in the top 5.

I haven't given up on Jones, but you can't really rank him high until he proves that he belongs there. Right now he could be a good value pick in like the 3rd or 4th round. He's got great upside.

I don't think Ahman Green should be on the list at all. Green, Davenport, and Gado will most likely split time all season next year and if any of them emerge as #1 it'll be Davenport or Gado.
