Okay … my dynasty fantasy league is entering its off season full swing now and I wanted to get your opinions on what I should work on with my team. I finished third last year. Listed are my starters and then top backups if I have any. Scoring is basic, touchdowns are big, yardage counts. For defense you mainly get points for tackles because both a tackle and assist count as a point. I’m not going to list my offensive line here.

Offense
Peyton Manning (Kurt Warner)
Cadillac Williams
Lamont Jordan (no returning backups yikes)
Larry Fitzgerald
Roy Williams
Donte’ Stallworth (Mark Clayton, Mike Williams, Joe Horn, Drew Bennett)

Defense
Patrick Kearney
Charles Grant
Terrell Suggs (Shaun Ellis)
Jonathon Vilma
Mike Peterson
Antonio Pierce
O’Dell Thurman (Angello Crowell, Kirk Morrison)
Troy Polamalu
Terrence Kiel (no backups returning)
Ike Taylor
Anthony Henry (no backups returning)

I need a kicker and punter but I’m not worried there.

If this was your team what would you be looking to improve? I have free agency coming up and I also have the #6. #10 and #12 picks in the upcoming rookie draft.

It's going to take some time to sort thru all these replies. Hold up until I can catch up. I don't want to miss anything.

Yeah, thats the part that bothers me the most. Problem is, the cream of the free agent crop is Willie Parker and he's tagged and will cost me a first rounder to get him. Other than him Mike Anderson is about the type of available back left.

Drafting a back I'm out of position too. Usually backs go high and we have three teams with a need there in the top three. So there goes say White, Williams, and Bush. If another back lands in a good situation (Maroney, Addai) he'll most like be gone by #6 anyway.

I'm kind of ****ed at running back.

package your 6 and 10 to move up and get a RB, you cant win without em. I finished 4th in my dynasty league last year, we dont do tags though...

I'm not sure someone would take that trade and I'm not so sure I would want to do that. You think taking a risk on a running back is worth that? You have to remember we have 24 starting positions so the running back position while important, isn't really as important as it usually is. I mean, our championship team last year started Willie Parker and Dom Davis.

I feel great about my top two backs. Cadillac and Jordan really turned in good years last season. I've no worries there. Now I can start either 1 rb and 4 wr, 2 rb and 3 wr, or 3 rb and 2 wr. Right now I'm best set up to run a 2-3 standard set with Stallworth as my weak point.

We have three tiers for restrictions.

Tier One - If someone takes your free agent they owe you a first round pick.
Tier Two - If someone takes this free agent they owe you a second round pick.
Tier Three - If someone takes this you get a third.

So other than those three, you get nothing if you are outbid for a player.

Do you know what pick you have in the rookie draft?

You deffinetly need a RB and with the lack of talent you say their is in FA you should deffinetly try and go RB with your rookie draft either Reggie Bush or Lendale White depending on where he goes (white should be a redzone threat right from the get go)

Which will be far too late to grab one of the big three and I imagine far too costly to move into position to get one. I'm not concerned with my starters. I'm very happy with Cadillac and Jordan. With the rest of my team (my defense was LEAGUES past the next best one) is good enough around that position that I shouldn't need studs there.

My concern a backup in the even of injury really. If one of those two were to go down I could be in a heap of trouble.
