I decided to hold off on the Mauer for SP deals, and will talk to the owners individually and discuss some options. I proposed a new one (perhaps im just too antsy to make a move), I give Mauer and Bill Hall for Howie Kendrick and Miguel Cabrera. I think its feasible, the other owner actually lists these 2 guys on the trade block, so obviously he isnt dead set on them. The only problem for me is I would have no legit SS. Id have Maicer Izuris who is performing well, but he wont be full time once figgins comes back. I could try dealing Figgins for a SS since i wouldnt need a 2B anymore (with Kendrick).

Now im working on Mauer for Morneau straight up. He had Delgado, so he wouldnt be screwed at 1B, but he told me he is worried about Delgado getting hurt. I think i might offer mauer and sexson for morneau and brett myers, he has 2 SPs better than myers and i will try to talk crap about him (myers) and how much he needs sexson as insurance for delgado, plus he's a mariners fan. We will see

Maur for Morneau straight up? Thats dumb... if you wanted Morneau instead of Mauer than you should of takin Morneau when you picked Mauer. Or if he wanted Mauer when he took Morneau then he wouldn't of taken Morneau.

well Mauer has an "e" in it, and Morneau was taken 8 picks before Mauer, so that logic doesnt apply. I would have taken Morneau had he been there

Then if he wants Mauer instead than he should have taken Mauer instead of Morneau. Its like if he makes this trade, he contradicts himself. Thats why I never do straight up deals right after the draft.
