Injury Update Thread
I had this back before Nfl-fans and this site merged and it was a big hit, very helpful to all fantasy owners. We all combine all the rumors of whos going to play and who isn't, and form the best source of info on who's likely playing or likely not playing.

I think it's a guarantee that he won't be playing until at least week 4 or 5, the only reason they did not PUP him was so that he could still practice with the team.

Eli Manning is perfectly fine... he was injured for like a second in the game, came back and threw a finale touchdown pass to Plax. He's fine, ignore headlines of "Eli hurt." Don't go waivering for quarterbacks, none of em are worth picking up anyways.
Brandon Jacobs left the game but until the MRI we don't know if the week two starter is Derrick Ward or not. But he's getting scooped up like crazy in yahoo leagues right now, I dropped another backup runningback to make room for him.. I guess its like buying a lotto ticket.
Terry Glenn WR of the Cowboys might miss the whole season but at least 8 weeks. Even then.. you can't expect much from him. Patrick Crayton got 3 for 51 on Sunday, but he's really a special ready to breakout reciever, he's a guy who can help you out big time if you have a little patience.
TE Kevin Everret of the Bills is in intensive care. It doesn't have any fantasy impact for anyone but I don't care.. it sucks that a sport this huge and fun can have such a large pricetag sometimes. They don't know if he'll walk again, he has a bad spinal injury. Our prayers and thoughts are with him.

Okay, I don't have a written article, but I swear my ears heard 8 weeks on the big ESPN NFL preview coverage on Thursday.

Nothing is concrete yet. We should find out this week what surgury he is gonna get.
Honestly right now he should be dropped. To me is isnt worth keeping (and Im a huge Glenn fan) because even if he goes for the minor surgury, he still may not get on the field. If you want to go with a Cowboy, pick up Crayton, or if he is gone and your league is deep enough, grab Sam Hurd
