ESPN: Crumpler is out.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Vince Young is expected to be Kerry Collins' active backup Sunday, pending a pre-game warmup. Young won't be among the Titans' inactives because the team feels he's healthy enough to play in a pinch, but reportedly won't start. We'll find out more shortly, but Young shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. Collins should only be used by desperate owners. Tennessee's offense may be run heavy Sunday.

ESPN: Clayton says Rudi and Heap are out. Sal Paolantonio says Maroney is a go.

*********

Kurt Warner did some limited work this week and had some good days and some bad days at practice. Warner is using a new brace on his non-throwing arm. Tim Rattay is likely going to get the start again this week however Warner could quickly be inserted into the lineup if he dresses out. Warner’s status is considered a game time call.

Vince Young is a game time decision and was limited all week due to his Quadricep problem. Kerry Collins took almost all the first team reps this week and will start if Young can’t.

Trent Green was placed on IR yesterday and Cleo Lemon gets another start.

Steve McNair was resting all week and Kyle Boller will start again for Baltimore. The Ravens play the Bills today.

The Patriots have downgraded Sammy Morris and Ben Watson (left ankle) to out.

The Pats Laurence Maroney has a decent chance to play today however New England is calling him questionable and he’s a game time call. Even if Maroney starts, he could spilt work with Kevin Faulk and Heath Evans as Maroney has been out for weeks now and New England could have this game well in hand before the 4th quarter.

Rudi Johnson is listed as doubtful due to his hamstring and is considered a game time call. With Johnson hurting, the Bengals are looking to Kenny Watson to fill in.

The Giants starting Brandon Jacobs is listed as questionable after taking limited work all week. Teammate Derrick Ward was also limited at practice Friday but is considered probable. New York also has Reuben Droughns in the mix.

Chris Brown missed work all week and he’s not someone to count on today. LenDale White is expected to carry the load for the Titans today against Houston.

Marvin Harrison is a game time call due to his knee. The team sounds as if they think he will play. The Colts play on Monday Night against the Jaguars.

Calvin Johnson appears to be ready to return after missing several weeks of action due to his sore back. The Lions are coming off a bye week and Johnson took reps all week.

Javon Walker is out for this week and could miss a month or more after knee surgery this week. While plans can change, it seems DEN receiver Rod Smith will likely return to practice following the Green Bay game.

Andre Johnson is still a week or two away.

Anquan Boldin got back to full practice this week and is expected to start as normal. He'll face a tough matchup against Washington's defense. Washington has allowed just two passing TDs this season and opposing receivers are averaging just 9.1 yards per catch.

Deion Branch is out and D.J. Hackett is an iffy game time call.

Brandon Jones is not going to play today due to his knee.

Vernon Davis is expected to return to the starting lineup after taking reps all week.

Todd Heap is not expected to play against Buffalo. Heap hasn’t practiced this week and is resting his hamstring after rushing back last week only to be pulled early in the game.

Alge Crumpler is not someone to count on today. He’s not expected to play.

Chris Baker did not travel with the Jets and will not play against Cincinnati.

TE Alex Smith did not travel with the team to Detroit and will not play today.

AP reports: the Chiefs have activated former Pro Bowl running back Priest Holmes for Sunday's game against Oakland. Holmes has been on the reserve, non-football injury list this season. He will back up starter Larry Johnson.

Boston Globe: With TE Watson out, the Patriots have just two pure tight ends on the roster -- Kyle Brady and Marcellus Rivers .

Boston Globe on Sammy Morris reports: With Morris out, the Patriots are hoping that Laurence Maroney (groin) can return after missing the last three games. Kevin Faulk stepped in last week to handle most of the running chores. Heath Evans and Kyle Eckel are the other backs on the roster.

Boston Globe reports: The Patriots have downgraded the following players to out: LB Eric Alexander (knee), S Mel Mitchell (groin), RB Sammy Morris (chest), TE Benjamin Watson (left ankle), DE Mike Wright (knee).

Tampa Tribune reports: TE Alexander Smith did not travel with the team to Detroit this afternoon. Anthony Becht and Jerramy Stevens fill in for Smith.

Azcardinals.com: In other news, Cardinals DE Darnell Dockett was fined $10,000 by the NFL for "roughing the passer" last week against Carolina. Dockett hit QB Vinny Testaverde but no penalty was called.

Azcardinals.com: Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, WR Sean Morey and RT Levi Brown are probable.

Azcardinals.com: Cardinals S Aaron Francisco (knee) and LB Karlos Dansby (knee) are out.

Azcardinals.com: Cardinals QB Kurt Warner and safety Adrian Wilson are listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Washington. Warner (elbow) practiced some Friday and said he didn't feel as good as he did Thursday. His availability will be a game time decision. Wilson (hamstring) practiced Friday, which is a light workout. He hasn't missed a game since 2002, so I'm betting he plays but it's not a sure thing.

Pittsburgh Tribune: For the Broncos, receiver Javon Walker (knee) is out. Free safety Hamza Abdullah (hip) is doubtful. Cornerback Champ Bailey (quadriceps) and fullback Paul Smith (neck) are questionable. And defensive tackle Antwon Burton (back) is probable. Abdullah and Bailey practiced on a limited basis yesterday.

Denver Post on Rod Smith: While plans can change, it seems receiver Rod Smith will likely return to practice following the Green Bay game. If Smith, on the physically unable to perform list, doesn't start practicing by Nov. 5, he will be lost for the season. He is recovering from a February hip surgery.

Denver Post: Denver coach Mike Shanahan said receiver Javon Walker has no major knee damage and he would not need microfracture surgery. Walker's arthroscopic right knee surgery he had in Houston went well but the doctors said Walker will likely be out six weeks. Shanahan said Thursday that Walker, who has missed the past two games, was expected to miss four weeks. If the Broncos' season goes south, there is a potential scenario that Walker doesn't return this season.

Denver Post: There was concern inside Dove Valley that star left cornerback Champ Bailey will not be ready to play against Pittsburgh because of a left quadriceps injury. Bailey practiced on a limited basis Friday. "It'll be decided (today)," Bailey said. "We'll see." Nickel cornerback Domonique Foxworth will start if Bailey can't play.

Denver Post: An NFL spokesman said the league has set a Nov. 5 hearing for Denver running back Travis Henry to have his appeal for a third positive test for marijuana. He was informed in mid- September of the failure. "I know nothing," Henry said. "I really don't know any dates for anything."

Detroit News: Lions RB Kevin Jones , who said he won't be 100 percent this season, feels healthy enough to carry 20-25 times if asked. "I don't have any big thoughts on it," said Jones, who injured his left foot in 2006. "I just want to go out there and carry the load and play." The Lions have limited his reps, but coach Rod Marinelli said this week Jones would start in place of Tatum Bell .

Detroit News: Lions OC Martz said rookie WR Calvin Johnson is 100% and should play a bigger role.

Houston Chronicle: The Texans hope to see improvement from a running game that ranks 29th in the NFL. "I think Ahman's taking steps forward," Kubiak said. "We tried to be smart in how we practiced him early in the week, but it looks like his legs are slowly coming back. So him getting better every week is a big factor for our football team, so hopefully he can continue to step forward."

Houston Chronicle: Texans HC Kubiak also said running back Ron Dayne will be activated.

Houston Chronicle: There were no setbacks for wide receiver Jacoby Jones (separated shoulder), running back Ahman Green (bruised knee) or cornerback Dunta Robinson (hamstring) in practice Friday. All have been cleared to start Sunday.

Florida Time Union: Colts LB Gary Brackett (abdomen), WRs Harrison (knee) and Aaron Moorehead (team decision), S Bob Sanders (team decision) and LB Victor Worsley (foot) missed parts of practice Friday and are listed as questionable.

NFL.com: The Colts are back to full strength in time for their Monday Night showdown in Jacksonville. Four starters were inactive for the game against Tampa Bay on Oct. 7, including wide receiver Marvin Harrison , running back Joseph Addai and safety Bob Sanders. Dungy said before Thursday's practice that he expects all of them to play against the Jaguars. "We seem to be healthy," Dungy said. "We're as good as we can be, I think." On Friday Dungy said Harrison ran some pass routes and did individual work, and he is much further along than he was last week. "My sense is, if I were a betting man, I'd say he'd probably go," Dungy said. If Harrison misses Monday's game, it would mark the first time since he has missed consecutive starts since the final four games of the 1998 season. A week off helped the Colts heal, and they hope it will be a factor in their quest to remain unbeaten.

Florida Times Union: Jaguars RBs Fred Taylor (groin) and Drew (thigh) missed portions of practice Friday and are listed as probable on the injury report, along with DE Reggie Hayward (hamstring) and DT John Henderson (back). DE Brent Hawkins (foot) practiced in a limited capacity and is questionable.

Miami Herald: The Dolphins will turn to at least one new face to help bolster their run defense Sunday against New England. In the past nine days, the team signed 3 DTs: former Eagle Sam Rayburn, former Titans lineman Jesse Mahelona and former Ravens practice squad member Anthony Bryant. Miami also signed DE Derreck Robinson, an undrafted player who was a reserve for the Chargers the past two seasons. "You'll see one, two, if not three of those guys play in this game" on defense and special teams, HC Cameron said. "We haven't decided which ones]." Rayburn, who played four seasons for the Eagles, has the most experience of the four. He was released Sept. 2 by SF. With Vonnie Holliday (ankle) out at least another week, Rod Wright is expected to start again at DT, along with Keith Traylor. The newly signed DTs have been competing with Steve Fififa and rookie 4th-rounder Paul Soliai for spots on the active roster Sunday. On Soliai, Cameron said, "It would be nice to see some real growth these next few weeks. The light is really starting to come on." The Dolphins rank 24th in the NFL in defense and 31st in run defense.

Boston Globe: The Patriots released their Friday injury report, and DL Mike Wright (knee) was a new addition. Wright, who started against the Cowboys at right defensive end, is questionable. Every player on the injury report is questionable, except for RB Sammy Morris (doubtful, chest) and QB Tom Brady (probable, right shoulder).

Giants.com: HC Coughlin was asked in his press conference Friday what made the decision to flip-flop Jared Lorenzen and Anthony Wright on the depth chart. Coughlin said, "When Jared injured himself and he was in that position Anthony got the majority of the snaps and he has just continued to do that. Throughout the course of that week we just decided to stay like that."

Giants.com: HC Coughlin was asked in his press conference Friday if Steve Smith did anything more in practice Friday. Coughlin said, " Really there has been no limitation on him. He has taken his reps all week long, so we will see. We will see."

Pittsburgh Tribune: Steelers NT Casey Hampton (hamstring) practiced for the second consecutive day Friday and will start Sunday night in Denver. Tight end Jerame Tuman (back spasms) missed his third consecutive day of practice and is listed as doubtful. Cornerback Bryant McFadden (ankle) practiced on a limited basis and also is listed as doubtful.

St. Louis Dispatch: Rams DE Leonard Little will play Sunday for the winless Rams at Seattle despite a sore toe. Little practiced sparingly Friday after missing Thursday's workout. The injury- depleted Rams (0-6) are off to their worst start since moving to St. Louis. "(Little) didn't do a whole lot, but he did enough to get himself ready," coach Scott Linehan said. "It's a pain tolerance thing. He'll be ready to go and fine on Sunday. Still, it was a little tender today. He's played through a sore foot before." Little sprained the toe when his left foot became caught in the turf in last week's 22-3 loss at Baltimore. He is listed as probable for the Seahawks game.

Houston Chronicle: The availability of Titans QB Vince Young will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Texans after he took one series of snaps with the scout team Friday. Young had injured his right quadriceps against Tampa Bay and had not practiced all week. He began Friday's workout by dropping back and throwing the ball, then ran the Titans' scout team offense during a red-zone drill against the starting defense. Young was not available to the media Friday, but Titans coach Jeff Fisher said Young felt better and would be a game-time decision Sunday. "He was limited. He participated in warmups, threw the ball and participated in limited practice," Fisher said. "That would imply that he's improving. "He will still be a game-time decision, but it was encouraging to see him on the field today." Kerry Collins took all the first-team snaps Friday.

FOXSports: John Czarnecki writes that "there are concerns" about Brandon Jacobs (questionable, ankle) not being ready to play Sunday.
The New York local newspapers believe Jacobs will suit up, but he was limited in practice all week and may be limited on game day. It was a surprise that Jacobs was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, so there may be something going on with him we don't know about.
