ESPN: John Clayton - S Smith is not yet on the field for warmups, but he does think he will play.
ESPN: "tony dungy says it is extremely unlikely" Harrison will play.
****************
Kyle Boller starts today for Baltimore as they host Cleveland.
Daunte Culpepper starts for Oakland, but Andrew Walter, and not JaMarcus Russell, will be the backup quarterback when the Raiders face the Vikings.
Starting QB Josh McCown is doubtful with a right quadriceps bruise.
Alex Smith could be activated today, but the 49ers say Trent Dilfer will start.
Kurt Warner took reps all week and is ready for Sunday. Warner said he is still very sore with his bad left elbow and last week the Cardinals pulled Warner on the goal line in favor of Tim Rattay.
Wes Welker made the trip to Buffalo and was removed from the team injury report on Saturday. Welker was listed as questionable due to a "team decision."
Brian Westbrook took reps Wednesday but missed practice Thursday and Friday. Westbrook is dealing with swelling in his knee but Coach Reid sounded optimistic Friday. Treat him as a game time call to be safe. Correll Buckhalter would fill in if westbrook is out.
Ahman Green will spend another week sidelined. This will be the fourth time he is inactive, and Texans coach Gary Kubiak could not say for sure that Green will be healthy enough to play again this season.
Look for Ron Dayne and Adimchinobe “Joe” Echemandu to fill in.
Coach Mike Holmgren said Maurice Morris would start.
Shaun Alexander is expected to be ruled out with his knee.
Marshawn Lynch is not expected to play tonight against the Patriots. Look for rookie Dwayne Wright, Anthony Thomas and perhaps even Fred Jackson to fill in.
Earnest Graham is questionable but should be okay. In case he can’t go, the Bucs would lean on Michael Pittman and Michael Bennett. Pittman says he’ll return to play this week.
Travis Henry did not practice Wednesday, was limited at practice Thursday and missed practice Friday as he was in Phoenix attending to his NFL drug appeal case. With a partial PCL tear and the Broncos playing Monday night, Henry is not someone to hold out for.
Selvin Young starts if Henry is ruled out.
Panthers WR Steve-L Smith sat out team drills again on Friday. That’s three days in a row for Smith. He’s a game time call.
After returning to full practice Friday, Redskins WR Santana Moss is now listed as probable for Week #11.
Deion Branch worked out well this week but remains listed as questionable. In his first game back, you may have better options.
Vincent Jackson is a game time call after hurting his abdomen at practice this week.
Marvin Harrison is a very iffy game time call. He’s not expected to play despite being listed as questionable.
Todd Heap did not practice all week and is a very iffy game time call.
FoxSports: The Panthers could be in huge trouble if WR Steve Smith (bruised shin) is unable to play. Smith is a game-time decision after failing to practice for the past three days with blood clotting in his leg.
FoxSports: RB Travis Henry will try to play for the Broncos. Henry should hear about his appeal of a year-long suspension by the end of next weekend.
FoxSports: The Giants expected the Lions to come out running with Kevin Jones . The thing is, Jones isn't 100 percent, and do you rotate him with T.j. Duckett ? Detroit is thinking about this because it also plays on Thanksgiving and figures if Jones carries the entire load Sunday, he won't be able to do much against the Packers.
FoxSports: Chiefs RB Priest Holmes figures to play a lot because he is so much better in pass protection than rookie Kolby Smith . The fourth metacarpal bone in Larry Johnson's foot is healing quite nicely and there's a good chance he will return to action next month. It looks like the Colts will be minus receivers Marvin Harrison and Anthony Gonzalez until after Thanksgiving.
Providence Journal: Patriots LB Mike Vrabel remains questionable, but the reason is now his shoulder, not team decision as had originally been listed.
Providence Journal: The Patriots have removed WR Wes Welker (questionable, team decision) from their injury list.
FoxSports: This is a huge game for Eli Manning because Detroit has a shaky secondary. The bad news for Eli is that WR Plaxico Burress (right ankle) is getting worse, not better, and it's tough to find a rhythm with his best deep target not practicing. New York also self-destructed a little bit last Sunday with three delay-of-game penalties and a red-zone failure in the fourth quarter. The Giants have thrown for more than 200 yards only once in the last six games.
FoxSports: Seahawks WR Deion Branch will play in the game despite a foot injury.
FoxSports: Titans DE Albert Haynesworth, the heart of the Titans defense, figures to miss his second consecutive game due to a hamstring pull. Without him drawing double teams, the Titans allowed a season-high 166 rushing yards last week.
Boston Globe reports: WR Wes Welker and OLB Mike Vrabel, both of whom had been limited in practice with the reason listed as "team decision", have made the trip to Buffalo. In addition to downgrading RG Stephen Neal, S Eugene Wilson and ILB Eric Alexander to out for Sunday's game against the Bills, the Patriots also announced that WR Wes Welker has been removed from the injury report. Welker had been listed as questionable due to a "team decision".
Baltimore Sun: Ravens QB Kyle Boller will start in place of McNair.
Baltimore Sun: Ravens wide receiver Demetrius Williams (ankle) will be sidelined Sunday. Devard Darling will be the No. 3 receiver.
Baltimore Sun: The Ravens have already announced that quarterback Steve Mcnair (left shoulder) cornerback Samari Rolle (undisclosed illness) will be sidelined Sunday. Corey Ivy will take Rolle's spot.
Baltimore Sun: Ravens tight end Daniel Wilcox and safety Gerome Sapp was absent Friday from practice. Sapp has a thigh injury and Wilcox is still bothered by a foot sprain he suffered Sept. 30 against the Browns.
Baltimore Sun: Ravens Safety Ed Reed, who sat out yesterday's practice because of a reported back injury, was back for today's workout. Though cornerback Chris McAlister, who has missed the last three games because of a knee injury, wasn't out for the portion of practice that the media is allowed to watch, he is expected to play against the Browns.
Baltimore Sun: Ravens TE Todd Heap will likely miss Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium, HC Billick said after the team worked out today at Owings Mills. Heap reinjured his hamstring trying to catch a jump-ball pass in the end zone in last Sunday's 21-7 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Though the injury report won't be officially released until later today, Billick said that Heap was "doubtful."
Seattle Times: Bills rookie running back Marshawn Lynch (ankle) missed his third straight practice Friday and is doubtful for Sunday.
Seattle Times: Texans running back Ahman Green (knee) will not play Sunday against New Orleans.
Seattle Times: Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas (concussion) will not play Sunday at Philadelphia, making it the fifth straight game he will have missed.
Seattle Times: Former UA linebacker Antonio Pierce (mild concussion) of the Giants returned to practice Friday and is expected to play Sunday in Detroit.
Seattle Times: For the time being, Maurice Morris will be the starter. Seahawks HC Holmgren said Friday. "Mo certainly deserves the chance to play. What I have to figure out is probably a way to use both of them," Holmgren said, "and I'm always a little reluctant to do that with any position, really. I don't like to platoon guys or give guys series or different things like that if I can help it."
Seattle Times: Shaun Alexander needs a normal week of practice before he can play again, Seahawks HC Holmgren said Friday. And because he missed all 3 days this week, Alexander will miss his second consecutive game because of a sprained knee. "I'm not going to put him on the field until he can do what he does," Holmgren said. "And so he appreciated that. We had a good talk." When Alexander is healthy, he'll be the starting RB again, Holmgren said earlier in the week. That quelled any thoughts of a controversy at the position. For the time being, Maurice Morris will be the starter. Holmgren knows Alexander wants to play but doesn't feel like it would be fair to Alexander if Holmgren put him back on the field and he wasn't in condition to play. The risk of further injury is a factor.
Seattle Times: Redskins receiver Santana Moss (bruised heel) practiced Friday and sounded optimistic that he will play Sunday against the Cowboys. Moss missed last week's game and practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
Eagles RB Brian Westbrook missed practice for the second straight day with a knee injury and is questionable for the Eagles' game against Miami on Sunday. "I think he'll be ready to go," coach Andy Reid said Friday. "It's not bad. There's a little swelling." Westbrook missed one game earlier this season with an abdominal injury and often plays despite missing practice. Reid said Westbrook noticed some swelling in his knee after lifting weights following Wednesday's practice. He was held out of practice the next two days because the team practiced indoors on an artificial surface.
Giants WR Plaxico Burress (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 11 at Detroit after missing another full week of practice. Burress had had a season-long problem with his ankle. It has prevented him from practicing most of the season, but he has not missed a game and leads the team with eight touchdown catches. "He is doing OK," head coach Tom Coughlin said Wednesday. "He is very sore during the course of the early part of the week, and then he gets a little bit better as the week goes on. By the weekend he is back to a point where he can play."
Analysis: Coughlin added that Burress can't make his cuts as well as he normally can with his ankle sore, adding that some things asked of him are tough for him to do. His stats in recents weeks -- zero touchdowns in three games -- are proof that he's not healthy. Consider Burress a No. 1 Fantasy WR since he has potential to play well just so long as he's on the field -- and because he's got a great matchup at Detroit's 30th-ranked pass defense.
ESPN's John Clayton says the "best guess" is that Marvin Harrison (knee) will be out until Week 13.
The Colts play the Chiefs this weekend, then the Falcons on Thanksgiving, but Harrison isn't expected to play in either game. Clayton does say that Marvin "is getting better," but he's not close to being ready to face contact.
Titans DT Albert Haynesworth "figures to miss" his second straight game on Monday night, according to FOXSports.com's John Czarnecki. Haynesworth couldn't practice this week due to a hamstring injury and is a game-time decision. The Czar expects Travis Henry to try to play, and if Haynesworth is out, both Henry and Selvin Young could be more productive. We won't know for sure about Henry or Haynesworth's status until Monday evening.
Despite missing practice for the second straight day Friday, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis says Chad Johnson (knee, skin) will start Sunday.
