That's It, Game Over, I'm Done.......
We begin the road of the 2012 season in the draft. Traded up to get JUSTIN BLACKMON. He was supposed to give Gabbert that one weapon he needed. (Cause he TOTALLY needed one weapon, right?) What did we even give up for him? Cause, that doesn't even matter. Then, here we go. We're beefing up our defense! Defensive draft this year, Jags fans! A defensive end, Cornerback, a Linebacker who we probably thought was actually the WR that went to Chicago, and a Defensive Tackle. Our defense was SIXTH in the league last year in defense. We did such an amazing job beefing up something that didn't need much beefing up. The only thing more sickening about this draft is that we drafted a PUNTER in the third round.
Now, looking at the departures what stands out to me? EVEN LUKE McCOWN DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO PLAY WITH US. Declared free agency. And it was a couple days before Chad Henne even joined the team. That means he knew we were gonna stick with a terrible QB, a QB that's probably even worse than him. In April the acquisition of Lee Evans had my hopes up that maybe this could be a good year if Blackmon and Evans were the workhorses in our offense. But no, Mularkey made it clear he wants to screw us royally by releasing him before the season starts. Guy was a beast in Buffalo, just had too many injury problems. BUT HELL, EVEN HE would have been better than an old, washed-up Cowboys receiver. And here comes the greatest part. Last year our biggest problem? The o-line. The damn o-line that let opposing teams put so much pressure on Gabbert every game. Gabbert is terrible under pressure, can't do jack sh*t. What did we do to improve it? Oh yeah, NOTHING. And here is the tip of the ice berg. MAURICE JONES-DREW. Lets face it, the guy is still good, but he now has finally faced a big injury. But I don't care. He held out. He's now in crutches watching the team. But he's looking at a team that I sure as hell know he doesn't wanna be a part of. Not now. He'll leave us to go somewhere where he'll get a shot at a title. Their goes our whole offense. Here's one thing that has to start being on every fan's mind from now on: FIRE THAT BA$TARD GENE SMITH. HOW LONG is he gonna hold our organization by the balls and say, "ha ha Jacksonville I'm the main force fu**ing your organization and I'm gonna stay cause I'm a kiss @$$ and you can all suck my d*ck!" Blaine Gabbert era is over. Chad Henne will not get us anywhere with this horrendous o-line. Who can we rely on in this FA class? There is no solid QB available. Vick maybe? Oh great, that would do WONDERS for US... Going from one team with a crappy o-line to the other. And even the draft. There are NO solid QBs coming out. The Heisman was a Freshman, for christ sake. Destiny made this upcoming year a more tragic year than this one will end up. I'm just done with this team. Lost for words. Mathis will retire. Jones-Drew will leave, and with it the pleasant memories of that one magical 2007 season that made me a believer in a team that just faded to tarps and cheap players to spend on in free agency. So, cya, J-Ville. Time to move on to a bigger and better team. A team that actually has a future.......... |
SH nice avy! Your not still sore about my Bears putting the spankin on the Jags are you?
I just gave you some rep if that helps? :popc1: |
Welcome to Seattle :popc1:

I feel bad for you, SH. But I don't think this is the answer. Stick with your Jags, you'll get more satisfaction out of it, even if it takes longer.
|
SH is just expressing his disgust with his team just like I do with my Bears from time to time. Especially when playoff time is near.
My freaking Bears/Lovie are blowing it right when it count's the most. We have the talent to make it to the superbowl but not the management to do so. |
They started out 7-1 and now they're 8-5 lol Lovie could be gone though if they blow it too much this year
|
I think they would be decent this year with a healthy MJD. At least on the offensive side of the ball. Henne isn't a franchise QB but he is playing a lot better than Gabbert. Blackmon is decent and Cecil Shorts is playing awesome. I think a solid run game would really help them right now.

I'm confused to the above post... Anyone else?
