Yes, and especially if the Broncos are still willing to give up a first rounder for him... We can get some damn good WR late in the 1st. That said, a lousy team with Favre calling signals is better than a lousy team with a no-name QB. I'm at least thinking positive now.

Broncos never were willing to give up a 1st rounder and now they only have the 15th pick left. There offering ashley, and a 6th rounder for him. You also may see him traded to Philidelphia.

They won't give up a first now that they only have one, remember san fran gave them two picks for thier second first rounder.

i'm glad to see Favre come back, but he shouldn't have waited as long as he did. I just hope he can have a better season and retire with some respect.

favre's success (or failure) will depend on how well everyone around him comes back from injury. the green bay roster last year looked like the patient list at a hospital ward. if the offense can come back healthy enough to compliment what figures to be a much improved defense with woodson, manuel and hawk (assuming they draft him), the pack could be poised to give favre a finale he at least won't be ashamed to admit he was a part of

My bad. That was one rumor I heard. That works too though... Nothing so wrong with Ashley. At very least, he's worth giving up a disgruntled reciever coming off a major injury..

I just saw a mock on nfl.com that has GB taking vernon davis at #5 (also has philly taking mangold at #14, as did another mock on the same site. do they know something I don't? like that his secret identity is superman? but I digress...) anyone think that the davis pick is plausible?

there is already a thread about that ridiculous mock that you have posted in as well, did you forget about that thread.

NFL.com did update some of the picks, but it doesn't change the fact that it is the same website's mock
