The Packers still have interest in Randy Moss, but would likely need the wide receiver to take a significant pay cut if he were to come to Green Bay. The Packers are only interested in trading for Moss if the former all-pro wide receiver would agree to a restructured contract to play with Brett Favre. Sources close to the situation said the Packers had explored trading for Moss, but the Milwaukee Journal reports the Packers consider Moss to be an economically unfeasible option at this time.
Our View
Randy has made no bones about wanting out of Oakland, but it appears he may have to be willing to sacrifice monetarily to get his wish. The Raiders had previously maintained a third-round pick and a wide receiver would be enough for them to pull the trigger, but now things are getting more complex. This will continue to be a hot topic, but in addition to any actual trade, Randy would also need to be willing to part with some serious cash if he hopes to play in Green Bay.
