Not only is he slowing Rodger progress, he might be forcing their hand in Rodgers going away. He can't stay in GB if Favre is going to keep playing and he never gets a shot, this could be killing the Packers. Not only is Favre wasting years for the Packers with terrible play and ugly interceptions, but he might be wasting their first round pick last year. Of course if he goes two more year's they will be drafting two or three top 10 guys so maybe it's OK.

I cant imagine that he would come back and play another year after this one. He was saddened by the loss of Mike Sherman, and Javon Walker. If it was so hard for him to decide this year, I dont see why it wont change next year.

you are right junit, things won't change that much, unless this kid jennings can step right in and make plays, they are going to have trouble at the WR position.

WR is a serious concern for us, and so is OL. That may mean some more picks. However, any team with Favre under center is still better than any team with someone else. I think we'll have a decent season, but I don't see him coming back.

didn't say that, but you said you said any team with favre is better than ANY other team with ANYONE else, and that just isn't true, IMO. for the record I have never been a proponent of johnson starting in MN. he's good at the dink and dunk WCO, but can't throw it that deep, taking away the speed of our receivers. but hey, who threw more interceptions last year, favre or johnson? answer = favre. who won more games? answer = johnson haha

That's one year out of 15-17. Want to compare the rest of those years? It's also a classic example of the QB not being the only guy on the team... Take Johnson for example. He didn't win games last year. Darren Sharper did, and the easy schedule helped too. No one on here is gonna say Favre sucks, but he certainly was on a team that sucked. One man can't pull wins out by himself if he's the only one playing to win. However, on the other side of the spectrum, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson and Jim McMahon have Superbowl rings. This is a team sport.
