Prof you do have a point but all i hear out of green bay is that hes geting worse. Hes no brett farve and the only reason he made the team last year was because of his first round status.

Of course he's not Favre. There will never be another Brett Favre. Peyton Manning will probably beat all of his records, and Hasselbeck will continue to show the same playing style, but no one will ever again be able to combine the anger, arrogance, talent and lack of caring that makes Brett Favre.

No Packer fan is gonna say that Rodgers is the next big thing either. I'm pretty sure we all know he's not gonna set any records, but he doesn't need to. We'll put talent around him, and maybe get some blocking for a change, and he'll either win games and be successful, or have two losing seasons and get benched for someone younger. Either way, it really doesn't matter to me. I'll still love the Pack even if they go 1-15.
I gotta say this though. Packers have a 37 year old legend backed up by a first round pick that was originally projected to be top ten. Vikings have a 38 year old journeyman who spent most of his career as a backup, backed up by a 2nd day pick that no one has ever heard of. As everybody's favorite movie pirate say; "Worry about your own fortunes, my friends."

I dont care if all your subpar WR's become the next Fitz & Boldin, you'll still lose games because tavaris jackson is scrambling for a 3 yard gain

Rodgers > Jackson

just like he is judging rodgers too soon, you are judging jackson too soon. I personally think that jackson could be alright in this league in a few years.

At this point Rodgers is better than Jackson, but that may change. One thing is for sure already though...

Driver, Ferguson, Jennings > K. Robinson, M. Robinson, Williamson
And also...

Johnson < Favre
Those facts are all that matter to me at this point.
