FUNDS FROM FANTIXCHANGE TICKET RESELLING PROGRAM
The Green Bay Packers and Packer Fan Tours this week donated $5,793.31 to the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay.
The donation was funded by the team's 2006 proceeds from Packers FanTiXchange, the secondary ticketing program that provides Packers season ticket holders the opportunity to sell their unused game tickets to members of Packers Partners Club of Champions, the team's official fan club.
A convenient and team-authorized alternative to brokers and vendors, FanTiXchange is a seamless and secure method for ticket holders to sell their tickets to Packers Partners members, thus ensuring Packers fans are able to enjoy the Lambeau Field experience.
FanTiXchange was developed and is administered by Packer Fan Tours, the official tour company of the Green Bay Packers. More than 1,200 tickets were sold via the service during the 2006 season, the first year under Packers FanTiXchange after it replaced the StubHub program.
"The Green Bay Packers are very pleased to be able to donate these funds to the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay," said Packers Chairman Bob Harlan. "We received great feedback on the new program, FanTiXchange, in its first year, and look forward to the continued use of it by season ticket holders."
