Most of what I'm reading about the upcoming season generally predicts the Pack to finish 2nd in the NFC North with an 8-8 record, but do you feel there is reason to believe it will be better than this? Just wondering what others thoughts are.

Well with Favres prime receivers either gone of past their prime. Freeman coming back just to retire a Packer. Driver being their only offensive threat and injured now I believe. Plus Bret feeling the pains of old age 8-8 would be a good season.

the defense is actually pretty good and as long as the offense isn't giving the opposing team 8 million chances like last year then 8-8 seems about right on
Jennings lit it up before being injured last year, and I'd think Franks couldn't possibly be as insignificant this go-around..of course..if these things go their way, that's my case for them reaching 8-8 lol..

You're right about Jennings, he may be a bigger threat then Driver this year if he stays healthy. He's certainly a lot faster. Franks didn't do anything at all because he had to stay in to block since our rookie line couldn't. With all the hype the line is getting this offseason, I expect better this year from both Franks and the guards. I also like our new TE Harris. He can't block for s***, but he should be a solid target. The defense is okay but inconsistent. They should be better just based on a lack of Ahmad Carroll though. It mainly comes down to turnovers, which we'll unfortunately have a lot of with Morency's hands and Favre's attitude. 8-8 may be possible, but we have a lot tougher schedule, so at this point I doubt it.
