Actually, Carr is amazing, simply because he actually gets a pass off 1/3rd of the time, even when he has that one second to do it. That to me is a lot more impressive than anything Peyton's done, sitting behind the best line in the AFC.

Anyone who thinks what happened last year is Favre's fault should do some reading on a subject called f-o-o-t-b-a-l-l. It's a team sport, you know, one man can't do it alone. Yeah Favre's not 23 any more, but I'd still rather have him at 37 than most of the younger starting QBs out there (Losman, Smith, Eli, Vicky, Pennington, Grossman, Volek, to name just a couple). If anyone needs to retire, it's Brad Johnson. If anyone else needs to, it's Bledsoe. At least Favre can still move. Those guys are about as mobile as a monolith, and never had anywhere near the arm strength Favre has, even now that he's old. There's far worse out there than Favre and always has been.
