Excerpts:
For the Green Bay Packers’ 12 draft picks, it’s three signed and nine to go.
The Packers signed safety Tyrone Culver, one of their two sixth-round picks on Tuesday. The Packers signed defensive end Dave Tollefson on June 23 and defensive tackle Johnny Jolly on July 7.
There may be more of a sense of urgency to get all of the players into camp on time this year since a few rookies are projected to be in the starting lineup.
Linebacker A.J. Hawk and guards Daryn Colledge and Jason Spitz are projected starters. Receivers Greg Jenning and Cory Rodgers and linebacker Abdul Hodge also are expected to contribute immediately.
If Thompson is going to have all 12 players in camp on time, he’s likely going to have to sign some of the first-day picks, like Colledge, Jennings, Spitz and Hodge soon so the team can turn its attention to Hawk.

Well I am not one to care about contract specifics, I am delighted to hear Hodge may be starting. That LB core is gonna be sick...
