Default Packers 2006

Of course, the exact schedule with dates and times has not yet been determined, but here at least is a list of our opponents for next year:

Home:
Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, New York Jets

Away:
Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins

Seems like a pretty easy schedule compared to this year.

yeah the only playoff teams from outside your conference are Seattle and the Pats. to bad '06 is a rebuilding year for you.

Yeah... I say we'll beat Minn at home but lose to them on the road, so 12-4 or 11-5 is pretty feasible. I'm also counting a little on luck though. Seattle hasn't beat us since '84, I'll bet they don't this time either.

if Favre stays then the Packers are still a threat to win the division. it is only a rebuilding year if he retires. take away all the injuries they suffered and they could have been in the playoffs this year.

That is about exactly what I have been saying. If he does return, we'll be good for one more year. If he doesn't, we are having to deal with all new coaches, a lot of new starters and the next Kyle Boller for a QB. We'll suck for at least four years, but be better off in the long run.

Supposed to be this month yeah. Our new GM wants him to get on with it so they can start planning the draft.

I really think he's just playing the media. That interview on ESPN a couple weeks ago was a joke. He just wants the attention, and he can't get it any other way after a 4-12 season. He'll hold out as long as he can, but I think he will come back.
