Green Bay - Defensive end Cullen Jenkins on Friday became the third member of the Green Bay Packers' defense to be fined in the last month by the National Football League for roughing up quarterbacks.

Previously, defensive tackle Corey Williams was fined $7,500 for roughing Minnesota quarterback Brooks Bollinger in Week 9, and linebacker Nick Barnett was fined $7,500 for hitting Carolina QB Vinny Testaverde out of bounds in Week 10.
Cornerback Frank Walker also drew a $5,000 fine for making an illegal horse-collar tackle of Detroit's Aveion Cason in Week 11.
General manager Ted Thompson declined comment. Jenkins was unavailable for comment.
Late in the third quarter Sunday, McCown threw a pass that was intercepted by Atari Bigby. After slipping, Bigby regained his footing and made a 70-yard return for a touchdown that was shortened to 22 by the unnecessary roughness penalty against Jenkins.
Away from the play, Jenkins drilled the quarterback. McCown was shaken up and replaced on the next series.
"Once (Bigby) started running I kind of looked for somebody to block heading toward the ball," Jenkins said after the game. "When I saw the flag I thought maybe it was a hold. I didn't think I had done anything wrong at first.
"The official just explained to me that you can't do that to the quarterback. He said any other player it's an OK hit. We protect the quarterbacks pretty much now and you can't do that. At least I know now. Unfortunately, it's a little too late."
