And it's something you may want to get used to Mickey, having Childress as the HC could still be RBBC fo Minny.

That may be true but it just may be because he was making good with what he had. If he sees that 1 RB can handle the full load, i think he would be smart enough to consider it and eventually go with 1 back.

I don't like this move either. Gado and Davenport would be a lot better than Gado and Green, and if they plan on starting Green they'll soon see how stupid they were. RBBC may be the plan, but it won't include Davenport, Since Gado, Green, and Herron are all signed now, that makes Davenport the odd man out. Maybe you Philly guys will get your power runner after all now.
The Brees rumors are a lot easier to swallow. I think it will be a good move if Favre doesn't return. Rodgers is just fine, but he's kinda like Boller. Plenty of talent, but very limited mobility and a slow learner. If we throw him in now, it will not help us for 3-5 years. We need a Favre/Brees/Holcomb to run things for now.

I'm really hoping they (Philly) take a shot at him he is exactly what they need. But I can see GB's point though Davenport is and has been hurt for the majority of his career and Green if they are going RBBC makes a good receiving RB and he has done a lot in the league already. I can see their point and this is a case of what I see as them having too much talent and having to do something.

I don't know. They may also have signed Green for one year just to trade him for a veteran QB if Favre hangs it up too... And Gado never dropped a pass in the five games he played. He's a great recieving RB. The only thing Gado needs to work on is pass blocking, but his first training camp this year should fix that. I just can't see why they would keep Green. He's old, overpaid, and not at all what he used to be.

He is older but I wouldn't say overpaid, 3 million is a bout right, plus it being a one year deal gives him more of an incentive to show up IMO. I know Gado can catch but Green now is more of a blanket as a just in case guy, he has been relatively healthy more so then Davenport has and he can pretty much do anything. I don't think you guys could really lose in this situation.

green is a great player that has not had the opportunity to run behind an offense in sync. they were so devastated by injury last year that no one could have been succesful over a long period of time. Now that they will be healthy and have might have some cap money to fix some holes on the o-line, there really is no one better or more experienced on that team than green for the position of RB.

Also, with the chance of an inexperienced QB ruling the roost, it would behoove them to have an experienced back in the backfield. Also, green is a good blocker, don't forget that.
