yeh maybe all we can do is wait...i mean he might progress better than u think he will he might not...only time will tell...i cant wait for preseason to see wut he has
if it was my franchise i would start Volek in front of Young.. just a couple of years ago Volek played great filling in for the injured Steve Mcnair.. i think he could be a solid starter at qb.. as for Vince Young he will be started before Mauck.. the fans already want to see Vince Young play and if Volek goes down with injury the fans will be angry if they dont get too see Vince Young step in...
Yeh but is it the fans' decision on whether or not Young plays? And I am not arguing that Mauck should play in fron of Young. It just depends on how Young interprets and adjusts to the offense.
I think the Texans will hang with the Titans this year. They added Eric Winston and Charles Spencer on the offensive line. Spencer being a very massive guy and Winston has rare athletic ability for a tackle. Carr has already been allowed to roll-out out of the pocket some this year. They also added Eric Moulds and if Andre Johnson who was hurt last year can come back strong I think the Texans will run with the Titans. However if that is the case I dont think it is based solely on the fact that McNair is fat.

Houston could kill the Titans. Steve McNair is too fat and needs to retire. They dont got no good WR. just one i think.

I think the jags miss smith more than the colts miss edge, remember rhodes knows the system and addai has an explosiveness that edge didn't really have. They lost a couple guys on the dline. but dungy knows how to work with guys on defense. I would be surprised if indy didn't win the division handily. Also, the jags can't keep any RB's healthy not to mention leftwich's injury prone too. Houston will need at least one year to come together as a team and should be one of those teams knocking other teams out of the playoffs come season's end.

look we all get off topic, it is part of what makes a great forum. Now i don't think Ellis "jumped down your throats" because what he said was true. You all had been talking about the Titans qb situation for almost a whole page on the Texans forum. I don't have a major problem with getting off topic because it happens all the time, but Ellis did the right thing and brought the focus back to the Texans.

I dont understand. Proffesor tells us to get back on topic or start a new thread, which is fine by me. However he does the same thing in the same thread I dont understand why he gets mad at us.
