Texans pursuing free agent quarterback Jeff Garcia

Jeff Garcia, who was not offered a new contract by Philadelphia.

Because Denver insisted on getting a draft choice for Jake Plummer and the Texans won’t part with any of their picks, they’re trying to sign Garcia, who would replace David Carr as their starter.

The Texans have been expected to trade Carr since last season ended. Once Garcia signs with a new team and is off the market, Carr becomes the most attractive quarterback available.

Garcia, who turns 37 this year, is one of the hottest free agents on the market. When coach Gary Kubiak was the offensive coordinator at Denver, the Broncos tried to acquire Garcia but couldn’t pull it off.

Garcia is going to either Oakland or Tampa Bay, this is just wishful thinking by the Texans.

two years ago nobody would go near Jeff Garcia, now there are teams fighting over him, LOL. HE SUCKS unless he is in a WCO that has talented players around him, otherwise he SUCKS.
