It's a shame how poorly the Texans are playing this year, and it's even more of a shame how many people are blaming David Carr for their failures as a team.

I really expected Houston to play alot better this year. I think I even picked them in my pools early on, bad move

Don't feel too bad about it. Some of us pick Cleveland every year..

lol...I know what you mean. I never pick against my team, but that approach doesn't always payoff

I agree it's a shame. i think it's more the fault of the offensive line. a team needs everybody on the team to do well, one guy can't do it by himself. you can play one on one basketball, but not one on one football.

Very well put, Carr is doing everything he can. But when you know you only have three seconds before you are hit it is hard to find an open man.

I just wonder how these past few years with no time in the pocket and all the sacks he has taken is going to affect him in the future when Houston hopefully has a good line.

I think it will make him one of the best QB's in the league. If he can hold his own and still be competitive in three seconds, imagine how good he could be if he had ten.
