Default Kubiak on his RB's among other things

http://houstontexans.com/news/detail...0Latest%20News

(on running backs) “I believe all of them will play, Wali (Lundi) and Ron (Dayne). Sam (Gado) could play also, of course if one of them was on a roll he’d probably play more than the others. But I think they’ll all play from now on out.”
(on practice) “It was a good practice. It got a little sloppy at the end, but we’ll battle back. It bothered some guys out here, it’s got to bother them. Got a lot of work to do, we still have tomorrow but we’ve got our work cut out for us.”

Samkon is the best of the group IMO, his very first NFL game ever the guy had 60 yards against the steelers defense...he earned my respect forever for that. And the other game i saw him in he did the second best spin move ever on brian dawkins and went 40 yards for a TD.

Well Morency isn't what Sherman wanted and sherman loved Gado in GB. Morency is more of a third down shifty type of guy and Sherman wanted a #2 or eventual #1a and #1b. Morency fits that third down guy in GB much better.

I know I am probobly missing a critical point here, but wasnt one of the reasons Gado was traded was because he was struggling with GB's new zone blocking scheme? And isnt Houston running a zone blocking scheme too?

First off they are both running a version of the zone blocking scheme, that is true. However, GB's line is struggling with it more than Hou's line is (in run blocking anyway) Kubiak is the master of it as he was in Denver. This also puts Gado back with his former coach in GB. They needed a bigger guy and gado is bigger than morency.

Running backs are a dime a dozen to KubiackI have long been saying that they didnt reall need reggie bush with dominick davis back there and kubiack as the coach. he is the same guy that is responsible for terrell davis, rouben droughns.. and such and such... one of them will come around.... eventually.
