sounds like it could linger the whole season... I cant even name another passing threat in that offense either, I know the TE Owen Daniels will see a lot of looks this week because the Colts Cover 2 leaves the middle open for short throws but they lack a gamebreaking wide out now

This hurts more than many might think... the Texans finally get on a bit of a roll, bringing in Schaub then this happens. If he can get healthy soon, this team will contend for a Wild Card spot. Especially if Mario can play like a #1 pick.

Yes Jacoby Jones will be in.

If you are looking for a Texan to put on your fantasy team.. look at:

Owen Daniels: He will move the chains and probably catch anywhere between 7-10 balls this Sunday(im betting anyway).

Jacoby Jones: Its a bit riskier than the Daniels pick, but if Jones comes in and performs like he did in preseason, he could have a game as big as AJ has been having the last 2 weeks. JJ has the potential to be our big receiving threat in Johnson's absence.

Vonta Leach: He isnt gonna wow ya with his stats..but look for him to get more throws in his direction than he usually does. I imagine he could finish the day with anywhere between 30-50 receiving yards.

Ahman Green: Hes gonna have 20+ carries this Sunday. I expect him to finish with over 100 yards.


Losing AJ for this amount of time COULD really hurt.. but im not worried. Even if we lose him for 4 weeks (I doubt it).. we DO have other receiving threats. Maybe nothing quite as explosive.. but plenty of other teams get by and win games without having an Andre Johnson on their team. We have other targets and Schaub will find them.

It also helps that we have a fairly easy schedule this year.

Andre Johnson may be in the upper echelon of WR's in the league, but someone has to show some life in the other WR position.

Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (knee) is out for Week 5. His rehabilitation will step up this week, but he will likely be out for at least two more games.
