The Texans reached agreement today on a new contract with wide receiver and kick returner Andre Davis.

Davis' agent Kennard McGuire and Texans general manager Rick Smith spent the last two days in intense talks before reaching an agreement that keeps Davis from becoming an unrestricted free agent
