Four More Years
the Texans have signed offensive linemen McKinney to a four year contract extension. The contract is worth nine million dollars and saves the Texans around two million. This is a good signing because McKinney was one of the few stable parts of their offensive line.

i know, he has taken every snap for that team for the last couple of years. The trenches for that team is a rough place to be. Kubiak is a smart guy and he knows how to work with what he's got. He'll add a few peices and get the most out of those guys. Don't be surprised if the texan's get a guy like runyan from the eagles and maybe ashworth from the pats and they could win possible 6-7 games next year. In the world of FA and team management if you have a smart coach anything is possible.

houston is definitely not going to jump to first or anything, but they have the right pieces in place to start building ala cleveland a few years ago.

Houston will make the playoffs this year. They'll go down in the first round believe me, but they will still make the playoffs. They have great players, just no OL or CB. Now they have a coach that understands that and knows how to fix it, and the best OC currently available to top it off. They'll be one of the top teams this year, and you heard it here first!!!
Cleveland is still cursed. But at least now they're fun to watch...

Cleveland finally has a coach that can get some things done and knows how to player evaluate. They were in shambles recently and now seems to now what to do to turn it around. As far as Houston, Like I said before, they are finally doing the right things, well except for keeping Carr, but the jury is still out on that one. The team will start to get better, as for the playoffs next year, that's as stretch, but you never know anymore.

that is a pretty bold statement, you could be up for homer of the year after this season.
